www.hoodtie.com is published and operated by HOODTIE®, Ferruccio Tosatto, whose registered office is located in Switzerland, in CH-1443 Champvent (hereinafter “We” “HOODTIE” or “our site”).

 

Use of the personal data collected
The treatment of your data is carried out only within the framework of the execution, management, dispatch and follow-up of orders placed on our website. Except for the dispatch of your orders, your personal data will under no circumstances be passed on to third parties.

Which personal data do we collect?

  • In order to process and ship your purchase, we collect the following personal data: your name, billing address, delivery address, telephone number and e-mail address. The email address is collected in order to send you confirmation of your command, tracking information or possibly to contact you as part of your order. Your telephone number is collected so that we can contact you in the event of a problem or need for additional information regarding your order or delivery.
  • We collect your email address when you register to receive our Newsletter.
  • In order to simplify your user experience we keep the items added in the Wishlist and your order history.

Reviews and comments
When you leave a notice or comment on our website, the data entered in the form, but also your IP address and the user agent of your browser are collected to help us detect unwanted comments.

An anonymized channel created from your email address (also called hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using the Gravatar service. The privacy clauses of the Gravatar service are available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Contact forms
If you fill out a contact form on our site, your e-mail address and the content of your message will be sent to us by e-mail and kept in our database in order to process them more easily.

Cookies
If you submit a notice or comment on our site, you will be asked to save your name, e-mail address and website in cookies. It’s only for your comfort so you do not have to enter this information if you post another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.

If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

When you sign in, we’ll set up a number of cookies to save your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a login cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. If you check “remember me”, your cookie will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (eg YouTube videos). Content embedded from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor visited that other site. Geolocation based on the IP address
To improve your user experience, we use a coarse Geolocation service by IP address. This allows us to automatically choose the right VAT rate, your currency, and the country of delivery when you place an order. To do this, we send your IP address to the ipstack service, whose privacy policy can be found on the following link: https://ipstack.com/privacy. The result of this request is then stored in a cookie for a period of 14 days.

Payment providers

Use of your personal data

Storage times of your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This will automatically recognize and approve the following comments instead of leaving them in the moderation queue.

For users who register on our site, we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All users can view, modify, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Site managers can also view and edit this information.

The rights you have on your data
If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we have about you, including the ones you have provided. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not take into account the data

In order to make your purchases secure, HOODTIE uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send us via the Internet. When SSL is enabled, a padlock is displayed in the upper part of your browser.

How we protect your data
Your data is stored on a secure database to which our server is the only one authorized to access it. We make regular updates to secure the software we use. Your password is hashed using an irreversible algorithm, so it is not possible to decrypt it.

Procedures implemented in case of data leak
If, despite all the protection measures in place, a data leak is detected, we are committed to contacting the persons concerned as soon as possible.

Third party services that send us data
Our payment providers only send us the status of your payment and a unique transaction number. In no case your payment details will be transmitted to us. For more details, please refer to the “Means of payment” section above.
